The Glass Falls a five foot span of twelve structural cast glass panels ‘floating’ in between granite walls.
The twelve panels are mounted horizontally to the sides of the granite walls with custom designed stainless steel brackets. The result is a light, airy and colorful center section grounded by the dark walls to either side.
The sculptural element consists of 12 flat 4” thick panels, 5’ long and ranging from 21” wide at the top to 36” wide at the bottom, creating a ‘waterfall’ effect.
Each 4” panel is cut at a slant, yielding a surface ‘face’ of 4.65 inches. The panels start 5.85”; from the base of the walls, with a space of 5.85” between each.
